Other Projects

Aloft Github

Aloft is a web application designed to deliver realtime transcriptions instantaneously and seamlessly through a sleek, lightweight, and easy-to-use platform. It was designed specifically with the needs of the deaf/hard of hearing utilizing live caption streams in mind.

I built Aloft from the ground up in Node.js, implementing various libraries to handle realtime broadcasting of text and live storing of transcripts into a Mongo database.

Aloft is now a part of the Open Steno Project.

Open Steno Project

I have been an active member of the Open Steno community, suggesting improvements on existing projects or guidance for future ones. I am one of the official developers on the Plover Github.
